Far beyond a school, Espaço Baião assumes itself as a disseminator of Brazilian Culture. In addition to regular classes, there are weekly, monthly and annual events that the project has been developing in Lisbon for over 10 years.

FESTIVAL
Our big annual event is named Baião in Lisboa Festival and is one of the biggest and most significant landmarks of the Forró footprint in Europe.
With 13 years of existence, BIL is an event that flies beyond the prototype of what a dance festival is. Music, workshops, dance, DJ set, documentaries, crafts, cooking, lectures, parades and much more in an event that, in December, makes Lisbon the central point of Forró in Europe!

Maria Bonita Festival is back!
Because all events have a purpose and a foundation, the Maria Bonita Festival was born out of the need to create a festival aimed at followers.
The follower concept is under development, its positioning in dance and everything that until then was understood as being "only for women". An event dedicated to the art of driving with your own style and freedom. Another innovative and pioneering milestone developed by Espaço Baião.
BAIÃO VINTAGE
A dance where the watchword is “history”.
The sounds tell stories through the needles of the turntables. Baião Vintage brings us a forró repertoire full of memories and experiences, a mix of decades and artists that lead us to dance along a unique musical path.
